For those of you who don’t know him, John Wooden was an American basketball player and later head basketball coach at UCLA University.
John was just four months and 10 days short of 100 years old when he died.
John’s teams have won more NCAA Division I Championships than any other school. John won 10 of them with his teams.
In 1934 as a high school teacher in South Bend, Indiana, John Wooden defined success as “peace of mind attained only through self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do the best of which you’re capable.“
I agree with John that if we want to succeed at something, we must know we made the effort to do the best we are capable of doing.
Part of that effort is educating your self on the things you are doing. This also applies to Your Keto Journey.

Hello Keto Friends and Family.
When you first began your Keto diet, you learned that your body operates more efficiently and profitably by burning fat rather than sugar as its fuel. 70% healthy oils, 15% proteins and 15% carbs.
In the beginning you saw how you needed a starting point for carb intake. So you started out at 20 grams of carbs per day.
The nay sayers out there will tell you that this way of eating is not sustainable.
I disagree – and here is why.

From time to time you will be out with friends, family, co-workers or even on a date.
And you know what?
You may be with people who either don’t know or don’t care about eating a Keto diet.

YES, this can feel exasperating!!! You’ve cut back on your sugars and carbohydrates. You’ve given up some of your favorite comfort foods.
In fact, you are eating way different than you used to eat. Much better. And you are following the program!
Yet the pounds are not dropping the way they first did when you got on the Keto diet.
What’s a body to do?
Give up? NO!
Go back to eating the way you used to eat? Never!
What then is the problem? What can I do?

Good morning my precious fellow Keto-ers!
When I say to you “chicken” what do you think?
Some will say chicken sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich or even chicken tenders.
When we begin our Keto journey, we are no longer eating breads, grains, pasta, potatoes, starches, corn, rice, oats and cereals. So we must learn to be more creative in our meal planning.
So let’s look at our versatile chicken.
